No work should happen on a Prince2 project until the Project Board has seen and approved this bunch of goodies, produced during the Starting-Up a Project process:
- a properly constituted Project Brief, setting out, amongst other things, the objectives and scope of the project, the deliverables, the outline business case, the acceptance criteria and an appreciation of the risks involved
- a set of role and job descriptions for the project management team
- an initial Risk Log
- the Project Approach document, setting out how the project will be done
- a plan for the project initiation stage of the project
