Folowing a successful military career, Steve's interests were naturally in the defence industry, where he built up considerable experience of defence projects and the particular management challenges these present.
Steve's speciality is in Software Engineering projects, where specific experience of large systems integration and bespoke development projects provides a solid background which can be brought to bear on similar projects in the public and private sectors.
Consultancy Assignments Undertaken
Typical assignments include:
Assessment of project management capability for a largesoftware engineering organisation, leading to improvementsin the organisation's ability to deliver on time and on budget.
Creation and implementation of project management capability metrics procedures to support successful achievement of CMM Level 3 assessment.
Providing direct advice to senior managers and project managers on specific project management subjects affecting live projects.
Training Assignments
Steve regularly delivers project management training courses for a number of in-house clients, covering general project management subjects, PMP preparation, PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner and APMG Management of Risk.
